My Resolution for Year 2008

I think this will be the first time I make a resolution for coming new year. Never before I did this. I want to get my own car. I think this will be the first priority for this coming new year. Even now I am looking around for a car.

My dilemma is whether to buy a new first hand car or to buy a second hand. Of course I would like to get a new brand car but its costlier and I will not be able to get my preferred car with my tight budget except for a Kancil which is I hate. Going for a second car, I am affraid I will get a very bad condition one. Anyway, I will definitely will get one next year.

Finally, at age almost 32yrs old I got my driving licence

At last, I have got my driving licence. This morning I went to take my driving test to get my D class driving licence. Luckily, at only one try, I passed my test. I thought I was fail because during the hill test, the car's engine was dead while I want to crossover the hill. However, I restart the engine and move the car. When I checked with the JPJ officer, I passed the test. Yeah!!! obstacle no.1, pass!

Then, come to drive car on the open road. The JPJ officer was so dammed fierce! He scolded me when I wrongly drive into the wrong lane. I thought I was fail already. However, I passed. Thank you God!I knew you hear my prayer.

I can get my driving licence this wednesday. I can't wait, man!

After get my licence, maybe I wanna get a car. but see my budget first. Hopefully, I hit a big toto prize.

Again...... NewLife Detox Program

I went to the new life office to meet with Dr Lynn Tan, to disucss about my skin condition at 2pm on Saturday . She suggested me to restart the detox program. And I ended up buying products amounted almost RM790.00. I also ended up become a member of NewLife (in order to get cheaper price).

So, I will (hesitantly) restart the program today, when the sun rises later. I will suppose to meet again with Dr Lynn next saturday to look my progress.

Three days holiday for hari raya aidilfitri.

I am writing this entry today on the third day of hari raya puasa direct from my home. Before this, all my entries were posted from my office. My house just apply for the streamyx lah, that's why.

My last entry was about the NewLife Detoxification & Rejunevation Program that I try in order to cure my skin infection (or disease, or abnormality). The outcome.... It didn't work for me! Well it was my fault too. I should be fasting during the program period, suppose only can eat fruits & vegetables plus other supplements from NewLife. I broke my fast on the third and forth day. I ate salted fish and chicken. I still continue consumed the supplements without fasting for these two day. Then, I regretted with my act, so I continue fasting on the fifth day until I finished all the supplements. But still didn't work.

So, I went to a doctor at Klinik Prisma near my office. The doctor diagnosed me with Psoriasis (just click the link to know what's it all about). Bad news is, this disease is incurable. What I can do is to control it by not consuming beef, mutton, lamb and less chicken (which was my main daily diet). I also have to stop drink alcohols (shit!). Not to be so stressfull (yeah right, I always in stress while doing my work, that's perhaps the reason). Luckily I don't smoke. But all of this will not cure it except to reduce the skin itchiness and the white flakes. The doctor gave medicines called Cetirizin Stada 10mg (to control itchiness) and Dexa (for allergy). He aslo gave me a bottle of ELOVERA cream (aloe vera with vitamin E (to apply on my skin to moist the skin))

My condition is getting better. However, last week at my co's annual staffs' party at Hyatt Hotel, I ate beef, lamb, prawns and drank beer. So the next morning, my skin was so terribly itchy all over my body. I had to scrath it until it bleed. What to do, tahan sajalah. Thankfully, the aloe vera cream is effective to reduce the itchiness. I still continuing the medication.

I almost forgot that last friday(12th Oct), I called the NewLife office branch in KK to make an appointment with the owner of this company i.e. Dr Lynn Tan (I won't call if not my boss instructed me to do so) and the receptionist, Ms Hii will call me back after hari raya holiday. Hope the doctor won't be available.

Ha..Ha!!, my heading for this entry is about hari raya holiday and I haven't say anything about it yet. Ok, I do it now, It's been a long time that I get 3 days continuous holiday. So, last saturday (13th Oct) which is the first of hari raya. I had planned that I will go for my driving class with my tutor and was set on 2.30pm. However, I planned to leave home as early as 10 o'clock to go to KK first to watch movie. On the same day, everybody at home except me will be leaving home heading to Sandakan for the installation of new diocese of Sandakan and the appointment of Rev. Fr. Julius Gitom as its first bishop. All my family members will stay in Sandakan until tomorrow, I think, because while I am typing this entry, they still not back yet.

My family left house at around 9.00am. Once they left, I also left home for KK. I reached KK at about 11.30am. I went to Centre Point Cinema at 8th flr. Bought a ticket just for me, and the movie I am about to watch was Bourne Ultimatum starring Matt Damon. The show started on 12.00 noon and finished around 2.15pm.

I went to the Pasar Besar KK bus stop to catch a bus to inanam to go for my driving class which where I agreed to my driving tutor to meet. My tutorial was about 2 hours long consist of driving on the road following the given route, parking, hill test and U test. Then I drove back the tutor car to Inanam. My tutor and I had agreed to have driving class the next (Sunday) at 9.30am (meaning, I have to skip sunday mass, oh forgive me God)

From Inanam, I get a bus back to KK to watch another movie. This time I went to another cinema, which is Cathay Pavillion. Bought a ticket for 4.30pm show called I Now Pronounce you Chuck & Larry starring Adam Sandler and Kevin James. Adam Sandler is one of my favourite comedian. If I had not mistaken, I'd watched all his box office comedies. The film finished around 6.30pm.

From the cinema went to Servay Hypermarket at KK plaza to buy spaghetti sauce, button mushroom and kiwi fruits. Rushed to the Pasar Besar bus stop again to get a bus back to Tuaran. Suprisingly. the bus stop was full with people waiting for their bus. I was unsure whether there were less bus available due to the holiday or there were so many people went out to town until evening. Almost 90% of the crowded people at the bus stop were Southern Filipino and Indonesian immigrants who perhaps get their day off on this day.

My bus that I had ridden was over limit of passengers. Everybody wanted to go back, so did not even care whether the bus was over crowded nor not. We just like sardines packed in a can. The bus driver also can not do anything about it. No use of him to stop the people, everybody just wanted to get home, do not care about safety. Well it was also include me. I had to squat on the floor of the bus from KK until PutraJaya. Sandi beb, mau pulang punya pasal.

At last, reached my home at around 8.00pm. Once I got into the house. Straightly went to the kitchen to boil some water in a pot. Take a spaghetti noodles and put into the boiling water for about 15 minutes. Took 1/4 of luncheon meat from its can and sliced them until became little. Once the spaghetti cooked, I drained the water from the spaghetti and put them away for a little while. I took a wok, heat it up and put a few drops of cooking oil. Took 3 cloves of garlic, smashed them and put into the wok. Stirred for a while and I put the luncheon meat into the wok. I get the spaghetti sauce that I had bought earlier, opened it and I emptied half of the can into the wok. Once the sauce blended well the other stuffs (as I thought so), get the cooked spaghetti and put into the wok to stir & mix them with the sauce. Taadaa! my spaghetti with luncheon meat was ready. Day one ended.

Day two, woke up early to get ready to go to driving tutorial lesson. I reached Inanam at araound 8.45am. I brought with me a USB drive which contains my photos taken during the staff party and went to the photo shop to print all the photos. It costs me RM20.00.

Then, went to driving lesson for another 2 hours from 9.30am until 11.30am. Once finished my lesson (but still got tomorrow, the last 2hrs at 9.00am), I drove back the tutor car to Inanam town. again to collect my photos from the photo shop. Then when to take my lunch at Wan Soon hin Restaurant. After that, went to Toto outlet to buy 4D & 6D.

I looked at my watch, it just 12.30pm. I thought if I went back home, it was too hot, so I had decided to go to KK at Wawasan Plaza because I wanted to buy some long sleeve t-shirts to cover my skin problems. I had bought 3 t-shirts (long sleeve one lah) plus 1 box of underwear(5 pcs per box) and a photo album from Parkson Grand, which costed me about RM120.00. Then, I went to Guardian Pharmacy, at first just to look around if anything suitable for my skin. During my search, I had found a soap bar specially for psoriasis, a Polytar Bar. Then I asked from the pharmacist whether they have sell shampoo specially for psoriasis on scalp. Yes, they have, called Polytar Liquid (both are from same company). The pharmacist had also suggested me to get a supplement especially for skin. I said ok, then she gave me the Blackmores evening primrose+fish oil supplement. Actually I was in doubt about the evening primrose because it never stated on its bottle about how it could works on your skin. However I took it also. So, from the pharmacy, I bought the Polytar Bar, a bottle of Polytar Liquid and a bottle of Blackmores Evening Primrose + Fish Oil. It costed me almost RM70.00. Great! Seduced by the pharmacist

I went back home at around 5.00pm.

Haiya, it's too long already. Maybe today story I type later or tomorrow, now it almost 10.00pm, I need to take my bath first.

The 3rd & last day of holiday, today, I woke up around 5.30am this morning to make sure that I won't be late for my last session of my driving lesson om 9.00am. Once I woke up, I went to the kitchen to boil water in kettle for my warm bath, and I saw thick black liquid on top of the kitchen cabinet table. I checked it and it was soy sauce from a bottle which I used last night, and I didn't close the soy sauce bottle cap tightly. Then I suspected a stupid cat which I didn't know which one was responsible because so many cats in the house, had accidentally knocked the bottle down and the soy sauce spilled out from its bottle. I cannot blame the cat since it was my own mistake actually. So, I had to clean all the mess up, and it took me until 7.00am to finish it.

So, it was time for my bath. I took the kettle, filled it with water and boiled it on the gas cooker. During it boiling, I took my USB drive and copy my staff's christmas party taken last Dec from the computer. Done that, and the water was already boiled. I took the boiling water into the bathroom and poured into a pail. So, I took my bath. Finished my bath, put on one of my long sleeve t-shirt that I had bought yesterday (I washed them yesterday once I got home and hung up on a hanger to be blown at by fan for the whole entire night). I got out from home around 8.00am reached at the main road junction 15 minutes later and fortunately a bus was about to pass by. So got into the bus and reached Inanam 30 minutes later. Once I reached Inanam town, I went to the photo shop to print photos from the USB drive I brought together. Then I went to one coffee shop. I ordered my breakfast which was Konlau Mein with Char Sau & Chung Kien and Iced Lemon Tea for drink. But I had to wait for about 10 minutes to get my Konlau. It took away my appettite. Once I got my Konlau I quickly finished it (took me only 2 minutes to finish it) since the clock in the shop had shown 9.00am already. I was affraid that my tutor will be waiting for me.

I reached my pick up point but my tutor hadn't shown up yet. He only arrived a few minutes later. Then, as usual, 2 hours driving lesson. This would be the last tutorial and I will be examined be the JPJ officer for Test-Drive this coming saturday (21st Oct). I have to apply one day leave for that day. Tomorrow I will fill up the leave application form. By the way I also need to bring cash of RM220.00 for payment of the test.

I finished my lesson at around 11.00am, so I went to KK, to Warisan Square just loitering around and looking for long sleeve shirt for work. Maklumlah, penghidap psoriasis, need a long sleeve shirt to cover my skin problem.

But I haven't tell about how effective was my soap, shampoo and the vitamin. I was impress with the outcome because my skin was less scalpy and flaky already. Thanks God, it worked. The itchiness was minimal. Ok, that was it.

Back to Warisan Square, I had found a lot of long sleeve shirts but everything have their setback. I saw a nice one but the price was not worth it. I found the cheap one but there no size for me. At last, I did not buy a single thing. I only used my money today just for bus fares, food and drinks. I also deposited RM300.00 into my Maybank a/c. I when back home at around 4.00pm.

That's was it for these 3 hari raya holiday. Tomorrow need to work already and on Thursday, got meeting some more. I think during the meeting, I will be punished for misplaced staffs confirmation letter. Matilah kau Daniel. Apa buli buat. Telan sajalah.

Fuuuhhhhh!.......I am tired already and the clock shows 12.19am now. So I finish for this time.

Newlife Detoxification & Rejuvenation Program

Guess what, I start my first ever DRP. Before, I never thought of it and I didn't bother to try. The reason I joined the program was because of I am suffering from some kind of skin disease that extremely stubborn like dumb cow. I had try so many medicine from normal clinic but nothing's work. At last yesterday when my boss saw my condition, she recommended me this program, then straight away she bought me all the necessary products for this program and it cost me RM400.00, well actually it's more than that but my boss subsidised me for the balance.

I have to fast during the program. Just follow the instruction. This is the first time I commit my self for this kind of thing. I know that I am kind the of person who starts something but seldom finish it up. Hope I will stick this program until it completed. it's RM400.00! you don't want to complete it Daniel! you must be crazy!

Oh! God, I pray upon you to give me strength on commiting to this program. Amen.

Too looonnnggggggg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's been too long since I posted something into my blog. damn!...so damn lazy....as lazy as a stomach-full pyhton.

It's September already, almost end of the year already. It's so fast. I thought new year just passed by recently but now it is just about around the corner.

Last month, I was almost broke. I had no money left in my bank account at Alliance Bank before the month ended. Usually there will be some left in my bank. I had to dig out from my another bank account kept in BSN to pay my ASB loan at Maybank.

I have 4 active savings accounts at 4 different banks. To cover my daily financial needs, my Alliance bank account will support that. This is because that this account is where my monthly salary will be remitted at. This account also will funded my 3 other accounts which are at Maybank, BSN and Bank Muamalat.

The Maybank account is for the purpose of repaying of my ASB loan monthly. Sometimes, I use its internet banking to pay my utility bills like water bill and sometimes to get a handphone reload coupon.

The BSN account is for me to pay my monthly Great Eastern life insurance premium. But some money is also transfer into this account for my emergency use.
Lastly, the Bank Muamalat account. What I can say is, this account is my final lifeline. This account will be last one to be dug up. In this account I kept my money for any emergencies occur. If this account is blank then I am in a big trouble.

That was what almost happened to me last month. I don't know where did I spend my money to. Well, yeah, I pay for my driving licence course fee. Spent so much just to get a stupid driving licence. I better not fail all my driving tests.

Recently, I just get my L lincence, maybe this saturday I will attend my first practical driving tutorial with my tutor. Hope I get my P licence as soon as possible. Oh! pls God!........

Malaysia's newest badminton sensation

It is great to hear that our badminton's double, Koo Kean Kiat & Tan Boon Heong has won the Asian Games gold medal, the All-England, Malaysian Open and just recently the Swiss Open. It is amazing that they had achieve that in less than a year of their partnership and I must say that they are best pair Malaysia has ever produced. I am very sure that before the end of this year they will be the World's No.1. If Malaysia to win its first Olympic gold medal, I'll put my bet on this pair to get it next year in China.

What I can see in them that can't see in other Malaysian's player whether currently or previously is they are mentally strong. They really believe in themself. That was why they can beat, not easily but comfortably the Chinese World No.1 of Cai Yun & Fu HaiFeng, not once but twice. Recently, in Swiss Open final, they met the Dane European Champion and one of the best double in the world, Lungard & I forgot his pair's name, the Malaysian had shown their class and beat the Danes.

To both of them, congratulations! Hope they can get more victory especially in the World Championship and the Olympic.

Well, last saturday I was drunk. I didn't go to my English Class the next day because I my head still felt dizzy with the effect of drinks too much alcohol. I did take my bus to KK, but I didn't go the class. Then I just loitering around in KK. Once my head felt better, I went back to Tuaran. At first, I want to go direct to Tuaran town but afterthat changed my mind and I asked the van driver to drop me at my village junction.

Once I got down from the bus at around 2.30pm, I heard like somebody calling me. I turned my head around and I saw my friend(well, not a close one) smiling and waving from his house. His house just situated beside the road. So, I went towards his house and asked him what's the matter since before this I never go inside his house.

Well, he asked me to accompany him to drink BAHAR. So, I did. We drank until 10.00pm then I walked home. Luckily, I was not drunk and still managed to reach my house safely.

By the way, Akademi Fantasia season 5 had just begun where there will be 16 students will be performing tonight. Out of 16, there are 4 students from Sabah which is Farha, Ebi, Noni & Candy. Don't know whether one of them could become the champion this time. Maybe for this year I only restricted myself by only watching the diarys & concerts instead of voting for them.

However, tonight live concert of AF will coincindentally clash with the EPL live football match between Manchester United and Bolton Wanderers. For sure my other family members will choose for AF concert. Whatever will be, hope Manchester United will get the 3 valuable points in order to keep Chelsea at bay.

Unfortunate morning on friday......

I had a very unfortunate morning yesterday. I was late for work!. Despite of woke up earlier than usual, I was still late. This is due to the damned massive traffic jam along Jln Tuaran which was started from Kg. Giling, Telipok to Tebobon, Menggatal.

I was already in the bus at 6.50am but the bus was still not moving from the terminal because it hadn't full yet. I had to wait for another 10 damned minutes until the bus was fully loaded with passengers. Then, the nightmare started, or I should called it 'MORNING'mare.

My bus was caught by the jam when it reached at Kg Giling. The jam was caused by the closure of the road that towards Tuaran. This is due to the reconstruction work performed on that road. In effect to that, the cars which is going towards Tuaran or north, have to use the fast lane of the road that towards Kota Kinabalu or south as an alternative. Instead of four lanes, it became 2 lanes road.

When the bus reached Telipok town, my watch showed the time was 7.30am. And I still optimistic that I can reached my office on time because the jam was a little bit less at that time. However, the jam was started all over again when the bus reached the traffic light at Putera Jaya, Telipok and it was massive than the former. The vehicles was crawling so slow even the tortoise was even faster, I thought.

Even with the slow pace, an accident was happened and it was infront of my eyes. Luckily, it was not that bad. It just a motorbike bummed into the back of a trooper. I thought that the the rider had misjudged the movement of the trooper since he was too closed trailing the trooper. The trooper suddenly stopped on brake and the bike rider was a little bit late to react and had kissed the bum of the trooper, and the bike fell over to the right side. The rider who with a lady passenger try to get up as immediately as he could but the lady still lying on the road. I did not see any blood on the road and I thought the lady was okay but still on shocked. The driver of the trooper came out and helped the lady to get up but it looks like the lady was too weak to get herself up. The scence too had slow my bus down since the bus driver and the other vehicles' drivers drove slower to have a look at the scence.

However, even after passed the accident by, the jam was still in bad condition because there was another construction work performed at Tebobon, to be exact, infront of telekom training centre. This time, again both lane of the road that towards Tuaran had to closed in order for the contractor to dig a tunnel below the road. The time was 7.50am, and I already smelt that I will not make it on time. The jam was over after the Tebobon traffic light. I was crossing my finger for the bus would arrive at Inanam before 8.00am. The bus driver had done his best to drive the bus as fast as he could, I thought, but I only arrived at Inanam at 8.05am.

Once arrived, I quickly paid for the fare and walked down to Inanam Superstore to get the 'bas sapu'. Reached there, I entered into the 'bas sapu'. It was, 8.10am already and my hope to get into office on time vanished since the 'bas sapu' still half empty. DAMNED TRAFFIC JAM!, I swore quietly in my heart. I would not be late if not because of it. And I had not taken my breakfast. Ahhh! go to hell with breakfast! no mood for makan already, shiiittttt!.

The 'bas sapu' was only moved at 8.25am, and while on the move, a police patrol car followed the 'bas sapu' and asked to stop for documentation checking. "damned police!" I swore,"already late, got police checking some more, haiya, banyak swuaylah!". Two passengers was brought to the patrol car for improper personal documentation.

At last, I reached my office at 8.36am, 21 minutes late!. What an unfortunate event! But I promised to myself, no more lateness after this until the end of the year. Whether I could keep the promise or not, it's another story. But I would fulfill it.

IT IS BETTER FOR YOU TO GET YOUR ON CAR, BRO!......

Sooooooooooo Lonnnnnnngggggggg Overdue!!!!!

My goodness, I hadn't update by blog for 8 months! You lazy pig!! toooo lazzzzzzy! Now, it's year 2007. Well, maybe this year I will update my blog as soon & as many as I could. Right now, I can't recall any interesting things happened to in the past 8 months. Wait a minute, it's exactly eight months. Wow! now that's amazing!.......AMAZING!....go to hell, bro!!!

Well, what I can rememberred was I was totally drunk during the new year's countdown night. I was celebrating it at a bar in Penampang with my cousins and some friends. It was a full house that night.

Recently, my Chinese New Year holiday also became a boozing from dusk till dawn session. See, how I can remember if always drunk?

What is my resolution for 2007? I guess I haven't got one. Malaslah to have a resolution. it is surely that I won't fulfill it anyway. So, I better not to have one. Just let my life goes on. However, I do have plan for this year. I plan to get my driving licence by this year. This thing is totally overdue for really, really long time but don't know when yet.
